My role is to help people remember who they truly are and that they have value, skills, and abilities within them. When we recognize the wholeness and strength within ourselves, and act from that place of deep inner knowing, our lives naturally get better.

Education and Experience
As a licensed clinical social worker with more than twenty-five years of counseling and consulting experience, I’ve learned a few things. One of them is that in most cases, the person coming to me for counseling already has the answers they’re looking for. My role is to help them hear their innate wisdom and take the steps that best serve them. Healing and true change always start there.
I am skilled at working with a wide range of people and situations, from history of trauma to couples and families to executives in transition to combat veterans to gender and sexuality issues to college students to improved stress management.
I believe in the inherent value and dignity of all people, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation or sexual orientation.
My consulting role includes staff-development and training and helping medical professionals and others to develop measurable ways of offering compassion and improved care, always beginning with greater awareness of self-care. And, of course, managing the inherent stressors of healthcare in more effective ways.
